Maryellen Larkin~ American Girl's Newest BeForever Coming Soon!

So, I have heard many people say that Maryellen Larkin was going to be next years Girl of the Year doll.

Well, that isn't true.

American Girl posted on Facebook that Maryellen Larkin will be the new BeForever doll! She is going to be released August 27!

I think Maryellen is so pretty! Her time period is 1954. I love her outfits and her hair!!!

Here are 3 of Maryellen's outfits. I love them all, especially the blue one!

I think this is Maryellen's meet outfit. I really like it, it is so pretty!

This outfit is also really cute! I couldn't find a close-up of the blue outfit.

Her hair is so pretty! I love the color of it and the curls. I also love the color of her eyes with her hair.

This is her mini doll. It is cute too although I don't care for any of the mini dolls.

This is the first book about Maryellen!

I am not sure which book is the second and which is the third.

It looks like her pet is a dachshund!!

American Girl said to watch out for more hints and clues about her. I can't wait to see the rest of her stuff!

(I found all of these pictures on Bing images when I look up Maryellen Larkin American Girl 2015)

What do you think of Maryellen? Do you think you want to add her to your collection?

Thank you!

What We Made In Honor of National Doll Day!

As you all know, my sister and I worked on a project yesterday in honor of National Doll Day. We were trying to make food for dolls out of clay but it wasn't working so I was trying to look up how to make food with clay but something a little different came up. A My Froggy Stuff video came up on how to make doll carnival food. We watched it and you make your own dough to make the food. We decided to try it out. It was so fun! We made 2 batches of the dough and had a good ole time! Here are some pics:

We made pretzels, corndogs, and a funnel cake!

We had so much fun we want to make more! Don't forget to check out this amazing tutorial: My Froggy Stuff Carnival Food Tutorial. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you all again real soon!

Sorry for Not Being Active!

Hi  guys. I am so sorry for being so inactive. Everyday I want to go out and do a photoshoot but everyday it rains. My yard doesn't dry up very fast so when it isn't raining sometimes I feel like it is too wet to go outside and do a photoshoot because I don't want my doll to fall over into mud or a puddle. I hope you all understand.

Well, I have a surprise coming up that you all will be excited about! I can't wait!

I am going to work on a doll project and share it with you all. Did you all know it is National Doll Day?  Well, Happy National Doll Day! I got so excited when I heard that and decided definitely I was going to do a doll project. Alright, I am going to go start on my project. See you all again soon!!

Craft: Make a Headband for Your Doll!

Today, I am going to show you how to make a headband for your doll. This is a very easy and simple project that only takes a few minutes. Let's get started!

Supplies:

~ Ribbon

~ A Ruler
~ A small pony tail holder
~ Scissors
~ Hot Glue Gun (make sure you have permission to use this)

Directions:

1. Measure and cut your ribbon to be 13 inches long.

2. On each side of the piece of ribbon, measure and mark 1/2 inch.

3. Take your pony tail holder and fold the one side of the ribbon over at the 1/2 inch mark. Hot glue it down. BE CAREFUL! USE THE RULER TO HOLD DOWN THE PIECE OF RIBBON OVER THE GLUE TO DRY SO YOU DON'T BURN YOUR FINGER!

4. Repeat the step above on the other side. It should look like this when you are done.

5. Wait for the glue to be completely dry before trying it on your doll.

Here is a little photoshoot of Kit showing off her new headband:

I hope you enjoyed this craft that I have shared with you. Let me know in the comments what you think! Thanks for reading!
